this tends to happen in all areas of my life, not just driving
yesterday i pulled up to a stop sign, looked to my left, saw a car coming, conducted a brief internal debate about whether or not to go, decided that i would definitely not go, and immediately proceeded to go anyway.
there's no explaining this type of behavior to myself.

If it makes you feel any better I do the same kind of thing all the time.
On second thought, there is no logical reason why my stupidity should make you feel better. On the other hand, I'm told misery loves company. Maybe its the same way with mental illness.

except for the fact that (as you may recall) i used to live in washington and am well aware that all drivers in that state operate on a level completely separate from any coherent thought that might wander through their minds while they're behind the wheel.
but really. i'm glad it's not just me.
